Established in 1962, MUHSK is a semi-English medium school aided by the Government of Maharashtra offering free education to the students from Std. V to Std. X.
Students enrolled in this school are locally from Kadwai, and from many other districts from all over India who are attracted to the school for its free education and the residential facilities provided in The Kalsekar Students Hostel.
Urban education at rural costs!
The Kadwai English School, established in 2003 is the only English medium school in and around Kadwai. The school is entirely privately funded and dependent on fees collected from students to sustain the expenditure.
The school has two sections – primary & secondary and boasts of age-appropriate play equipment, sports facilities, extra-curricular activities, laboratories and libraries.
Teaching science of today to build the technology of tomorrow.
The Kalsekar Junior College of Science established in 2014 is the only junior science college in the region.
The college boasts of a full-fledged and separate laboratory for Biology, Physics and Chemistry and offers holistic learning to the students in a sprawling campus. The outstation students of the college also avail of boarding facilities of the Kalsekar Students Hostel.

The Kalsekar Students Hostel offers boarding facilities for 120 students in its spacious 24 rooms.
The hostel building underwent comprehensive renovation a couple of years ago and now boasts of hygienic sanitation, well-ventilated rooms, bedding of not more than 4 students per room, clean cafeteria space, washing machine facility, and a hygienic kitchen that serves three nutritious meals a day, recommended by an eminent nutritionist.
