The Kalsekar Junior College of Science established in 2014 is the only junior science college in the region.

The college boasts of a full-fledged and separate laboratory for Biology, Physics and Chemistry and offers holistic learning to the students in a sprawling campus. The outstation students of the college also avail of boarding facilities of the Kalsekar Students Hostel.

The college entirely is privately funded and receives no support from government for its expenses.
