Q. How many rooms are there in the Kalsekar Students Hostel?
A. There are 24 rooms in the Kalsekar Students Hostel, with an accommodation facility for 96 students.
Q. Is the hostel facility available for students not studying in ESK’s schools or colleges?
A. No. The hostel facility is available only for students enrolled in Maharashtra Urdu High School, Kalsekar Junior College and The Kadwai English School.
Q. Is there any age limit for students to get boarding facility at the hostel?
A. Yes, considering that too young students feel homesick more, the age limit set for students at the hostel for boarding facility is 10 plus, upto 18 years.
Q. Are the students allowed to use mobile phones at the hostel?
A. Students are not allowed to use mobile phones in the room. However, when the students deposit their phones with the hostel warden, they are allowed to use their phones to make calls during specified times.
Q. Is the non-vegetarian food served at the mess halal?
A. Yes, non-vegetarian food prepared at the mess kitchen is halal and sourced from known and trusted vendors.

Q. Is there any zakaat support in the fees for deserving students?

Q. What facilities are available for the students at the hostel?

Q. Are parents/ guardians allowed to keep in touch with their wards?
A. Yes, Parents/ guardians can speak to their wards anytime through the warden of the hostel. They can also get regular updates about their wards’ well being through the wardens.
